This D.C. consultantis helping immigrantfamilies — and growing a business — during the pandemic

Kim Greenfield Alfonso has never been in so many meetings as she has
in the past few months. As Covid-19 spread, Alfonso found herself
working from home as she marked the first year of full-time work for
her consulting company, Results One LLC.

Alfonso launched the company in 2018, moving over fully in May 2019
after leaving her position as chief operating officer of Columbia
Lighthouse for the Blind. In addition to building her client list at Results
One, Alfonso recently served on D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser’s reopening
advisory committee and launched a fundraising campaign, dubbed
“Close the Gap,” with her husband to provide groceries for immigrant
families during the Covid-19 pandemic…
